A local ships agency founded in the year of 1991 and later established limited company in 1993, has grown into a one stop for quality shipping, marine and logistics services.

HIGH LEVEL OF SERVICE

SC Marine Services provides the most comprehensive services to the maritime industry in the area. The most significant shipping activities of SC Marine Services include reliable and efficient agency services including stevedoring and bunkering of small vessels in our area, delivery of spare parts and crew changes off port.

LINER AGENCY - STEVEDORING - LOGISTICS

Handling projects, ro/ro, break bulk, containerized cargoes & car carriers in Philipsburg. Highly trained staff in port dedicated to maintain our high standards with over 35 years of experience. Our Staff keep close contact with cargo/vehicle owners and take care of the planning/cargo operations/safe delivery.

Captain David Cargo quay has a length of 540 m of berthing space and depth of 10 m. along with 3,000 teu-container storage area.

There are two ro/ro berths at the southern and northern ends.

The Port handles approx. 75,000 teus annually with 2 mobile harbour cranes each with lifting capacity of 100 tonnes.

Port of St.Maarten also acts as a feeder port for the neighbouring islands.

DUTY FREE & LOCATION

St Maarten´s Duty Free status allow low port cost and agency fees, especially for in-transit vessels, such as VLCC´s and freighters.

St Maarten strategic location at 18.1 latitude and 63.0 longitude, 175 miles southeast of Puerto Rico and 550 miles north of South America, provide an excellent trans-shipping port.

CRUISE & TANKER AGENCY

Our staff are fully geared to handle all types of cruise and visiting tankers at any port in St.Maarten/St.Martin including our neighbouring islands Saba & St.Eustatius. With years of experience we can easily handle passengers, crew both for embarking and disembarking including cargo/marine operations. We maintain good and close relationship with port authorities, related government agencies, tour companies and passenger handling companies.

Dr. A.C.Wathey Cruise Terminal at the Philipsburg harbour with two finger piers, South Pier (545 m) accommodating 4 ships simultaneously and the North pier (445m) that can accommodates the world’s largest cruise ships – the Genesis-class vessels. This north pier can accommodates two of the Genesis-class ships.

Colebay (Kool baai) open bay with two moorings, east berth (GB/Chevron-Texaco) with depth of 8.20m and west berth (SOL Petroleum) with depth of 10.30m
